Jean-Paul Isson authored an Amazon.com best seller book Win With Advanced Business Analytics and is working on his second book : People Analytics in the Era of Big Data(Wiley 2015 ). He is an internationally recognized speaker and an expert in advanced business analytics. He loves applying data science to address business challenges and was named #13 among the 180 leading data science, big data and analytics bloggers in the world by Data Science Central. Mr. Isson is Global Vice President of Business Intelligence and Predictive Analytics at Monster Worldwide, Inc., where he has built his global business intelligence team from the ground up and successfully conceived and implemented global customer scoring/segmentation, predictive modeling, and Web mining applications building across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Prior to joining Monster, Isson led the global customer behavior modeling team at Rogers Wireless.
He is a contributor to the Journal of American Management Association and has published several articles related to his successful implementation of advanced business analytics solutions in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes Magazine, The Guardian, The Globe & Mail, Financial Post, Staffing Industry Magazine, Australian Magazine Which-50 .In addition, he has appeared in various media outlets including TV to cover Big Data Analytics and Employment Conditions.
Réal Lévesque has 30 years of experience in consulting and management.
As a consultant, he has had the opportunity to act as advisor for several companies in achieving their transformation projects and managing change: repositioning in new markets and realignment of organizational skills; realignment of operation modes and service delivery; technological change; employee involvement in improving the performance of processes and ways of doing things; adjustment of work organization; reengineering of manufacturing processes, simplification of administrative processes and optimizing the efficiency of service delivery process; renewal of supervisory practices; realignment of the organizational culture and values.
As a manager, he held several management positions in manufacturing and service companies: operations vice president, vice president of information technology, human resources vice president.
His career has allowed him to develop a good level of control of the implementation of strategies and practices to support and mentor innovation, development and solutions portfolios of management.
General Manager, Senior Director, Nintendo Canada
Pierre-Paul Trepanier is the General Manager, Senior Director for Nintendo of Canada Ltd. He is responsible for all of Nintendo’s business activities in Canada.
After 7 years marketing luxury products and sporting goods in Japan, Pierre-Paul completed his MBA at the London Business School in 1999. He moved back to Montreal to lead marketing efforts at L’Oreal Canada on the Maybelline, Ombrelle, and then Garnier brands moving from Product Manager to Marketing Director. In 2003, he joined Nintendo of Canada as its Marketing Director and launched the Wii and DS platforms, as well as over 120 software titles. Pierre-Paul then moved to Nintendo of America’s Redwood City office in 2007, to build a new consumer marketing team, eventually taking on broader Marketing Strategy and Planning responsibilities. In October of 2014, he returned to his homeland in the capacity of General Manager for Nintendo of Canada.
He currently plays Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros with his 2 kids and spouse in Vancouver.
Guy M. Vadish
Guy Vadish is a technology loving serial-entrepreneur whose professional career has been focused on business development and sales. He is a strategic thinker with a proven track record identifying and successfully executing opportunities to increase revenues, profits, and market-share domestically and internationally. He began his career during the earliest days of the commercialization of the Internet, marketing disruptive applications to Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Vadish founded 2 eyewear-companies based in Montreal, Canada. The 1st patented and commercialized the world’s first temple interchangeable system. As president, he crafted and executed the company’s sales and go-to market strategy and oversaw operations. He negotiated distribution agreements in North America and Europe including a multimillion-dollar deal with a retailer in France, ensuring profitability in year one of operations. The company eventually sold its intellectual property and patents to a top 10 global, vertically integrated distributor who continues to market the system worldwide.
Mr. Vadish holds a BA (University of Western Ontario 1990) and a Masters in Public Administration (Carleton University 1996).
